CADMIND is JBM Group's initiative for enhancement of
professional and focussed design engineering education.
With a vision to create world-class design engineers,
CADMIND aims to integrate technologies, strategies and
resources to enhance productivity and competitiveness.
A part of JBM Cadmium Pvt. Ltd., CADMIND is a
collaboration of JBM Group with Tata Technologies,
Dassault Systemes and MSC Software. The courses at
CADMIND target engineers and undergraduate engineering
students and have been designed to acclimatise them for
dynamic automobile, aerospace and manufacturing
industry.
In the rapidly evolving Indian auto component industry,
indigenous designing has gained great momentum. As a
result, the role of design engineers is assuming greater
significance, but the industry is currently lacking in
skilled manpower to meet up this challenge. Presently, a
crunch of around 8000 qualified design engineers is
being faced by the industry. With a focus on design
education, design simulation and engineering services,
CADMIND is a great idea to have an edge over the others.
A practical plan to be industry-ready, CADMIND is also a
promise of skills enhancement by the top names in the
industry.
A batch of around 2000 students will be selected in the
first year through a rigorous selection process. Through
the job-oriented training, the students will have
practical exposure. Students will also have an
opportunity to experience the real life industry
problems and case studies. This aligns the overall
learning process with the current industry scenario.

certified courses and training of one year and shorter
duration like

CADMIND centres will be set up in selected AICTE
recognised colleges with adequate infrastructure, where
courses on
Mechanical/Automotive/Electrical/Electronics/Manufacturing/
Industrial Engineering are already being run.
Backed by facilities like Wi-Fi, advanced reference
library and computer centre labs round-the-clock, the
course will be a mix of class room teaching and
practical exposure with online training via the most
comprehensive knowledge portal for engineers across the
globe "i.get.it". Through online education on "i.get.it",
the students will gain access to the same online
learning content that thousands of engineers from the

Toyota, Tata, General Electric, Ford, United
