Manav Rachna International University INKS MOU with JBM Group on establishment of JBM CADMIND Design Education Centre

Rs 3000 Crore JBM Group and renowned Educational Entity, Manav Rachna International University (MRIU), joined hands by signing a MOU on 01 Feb 2010 for setting up the JBM CADMIND Design Education Centre(DEC) in the MRIU Campus in Faridabad. The aim is to reduce the technical skill gap that exists between the classroom teaching and what the industry requires. JBM CADMIND is the latest initiative of JBM Group to step into the field of Education in association with the world leaders like Dassault Systemes (France), MSC Software (USA), Tata Technologies (Singapore) and Hewlett Packard. The centre will pioneer for providing high end design software education to engineering students and working professionals to meet the ever growing demands of skilled design engineers by the industry.
While the JBM Group is in the process of opening similar centres in many other Universities and Colleges, The Centre being established in MRIU is the first one in Faridabad. The Centre will provide practical oriented training on live projects through high end softwares like Catia, Delmia and Nastran, to start with. Such an alliance will offer many more opportunities in future for strengthening academia-industry alliance, which is indispensable in the prevailing Information Society and the Knowledge Economy.
The MOU was signed between Shri Nishant Arya (Exe. Director JBM Group) and Shri Prashant Bhalla (Sr. VP MRIU) in the MRIU Board Room, in the presence of senior officials from both organisations and esteemed representatives from various Business Federations of Faridabad.
Mr. Arya and Mr. Bhalla released a joint press release and declared that the centre will start functioning within the month of February this year. |
