Social Initiatives
As the sons of the soil, the people of JBM Group possess the equal concern for social objectives and the organization has nurtured this sense for public cause since its inception in 1983. The Group has lived up to the expectations people have pinned to it for the betterment of society by taking initiatives for establishing public facilities at the ancestral place of the family, near the location of plants and various other places in the country which can be enumerated as community development, partnership with NGOs and social organizations in their task aimed at public welfare and environment management.

Community Development Under this sector the Group has been instrumental in developing village wells, ponds and laying pipelines to supply drinking water to the inhabitants of various areas. The Group has established many educational institutions to contribute in the field of universalization of primary and secondary education in the thrust areas.

In the Medicare sector, the Group has participated actively by setting up hospitals and medical camps for the poor and needy in various areas. Construction of religious places like temples and community centers like Panchayat bhawans and Halls form the part of many social initiatives taken by the Group in the field of society development.

Participation with NGOs and other social organizations The Group has supported social organizations like K C Mahindra Trust, Arya Veer Dal, Red Cross Society of India, Patanjali yoga peeth, and several educational institutions in the field of health, education, poverty elevation, and rescue and rehabilitation operations. The Group has also extended its support by donating ambulances, promoting girl child education by generating funds and providing financial support. The Group has been providing scholarships to needy, financial and logistic help to sufferers of natural calamities like earth quakes, tsunami, floods, etc. the group has also been the part of organizing blood donation camps and supporting the families of war heroes of Kargil. In addition, The Group has also been supporting and encouraging sports and cultural activities.

Environmental Management Taking the management of environment as basic principle in the overall scenario of growth and development, the Group has not only religiously adhered its legal requirements but gone ahead in this direction by introducing water management in the shape of rain water harvesting in most of its plants. It has initiated measures for optimal utilization of resources, minimizing the waste that has helped in prevention of resource depletion.

All the work places of the Group have waste management, OHSAS, energy conservation, pollution control, noise control and effluent treatment facilities.
